Greetings, one and all! (Probably just one at this point (Hi mom) ) Let me start by saying that my name is Riley, and I am not a robot like the name of the site suggests. The real Robot Riley, interestingly enough, is my Robot! I built him almost three years ago during the summer.
He looks and sounds exactly like me because I’m great at building robots. I built him primarily as a bodyguard / body double to take over for me when I need my naps. You’ll never see me and my robot in the same place at the same time. Not because I’m secretly Robot Riley, but because I’m napping. Don’t look any further into this.
If you look closely, you can see that the only major differences in terms of physical appearances between Robot Riley and myself are the robotic devices installed. Devices shown: Laser Visor, Power Vest. Devices not yet installed at the time of the photo: Rocket Boots. In the picture on the left, you’ll see me. The real Riley. Good ol’ Riley, he can’t be a robot! Where’s the Laser Visor? How about a Power Vest? Aw, he can’t be a robot without all kinds of robot junk! See, it’s obvious. We’re completely separate entities. Issue completely resolved. Drop it.
It’s been an interesting and rewarding experience building a robot. It’s probably my favorite pet project. So that’s why I’m calling my site Robot Riley. It’s a place for all of my projects, robot related or not. I’m planning on making this place the hot spot for my truly magnificent short videos. I’ll post words and pictures and cool internet stuff I enjoy like all of these other blogs, too. It’s not really going to be that great. It’ll be pretty generic, actually. Come back later anyway.
