So earlier today I had a discussion with my mom about where I would live if I were to move to New York in a few months. She told me that her boss has a son-in-law who is somehow connected to a basement apartment in the city. And that this apartment is located below a house rented out by Kate Hudson. CRAZY, right? Okay, not really. But I then had a pretty silly daydream about what my life would be like for those first few days meeting/being best friends with Kate Hudson. Later, I told my friend Zina all about it:
Zina: Whaaat?
You guys should date.
And then you can break into Hollywood
Riley: Yeah then the rest of the car ride home after my mom told me that
I was thinking about how that would work.
Zina: hahaha
Riley: like we'd meet and she'd really like that I wasn't too familiar with her career
Like I wasn't a crazy fan, but I knew who she was
and then we would get along and she would be like "what music were you listening to the other night?"
Zina: Haha
Riley: And then she would take me to this party, but beforehand she would warn me that there might be a lot of famous people there, and I shouldn't flip out and we can leave whenever.
but then I meet the guitarist from the Strokes!
and we get along and he likes my youtubes
Zina: fabrizio?
Riley: Albert.
Zina: Angilico?
Riley: ALBERT
and I think that's where the fantasy ended
Oh also I turn down cocaine multiple times
and Kate appreciated that, even though she admits to indulging at the party.
So, yeah. That would be great if this ends up happening.
