OEDI-WUSS: A super oversimplified retelling of Oedipus Rex.

This was turned in as a final project for my Theater as Literature class (Albany High School, senior year, class of 2006). We were given the option to do whatever we wanted. We had access to a video camera and nobody in our group wanted to make a construction paper poster and present it to the class. We had no plans before we started filming besides “funny” and “do it at Riley’s house.” We got the best grade in the class.

RILEY’S FAVORITE JOKE IN THE VIDEO THAT NOBODY GOT: The line “oh, Oedipus!” and my response. This was a nod to the dummies in our class that always pronounced it “O-edipus.” They didn’t get it.
